Biography of Giannina Braschi
Giannina Braschi is an American poet, playwright, novelist, and essayist of Puerto Rican descent.
She writes in both Spanish and English and is considered by critics to be one of the foremost contemporary Spanish-language poets. She has been compared to Gabriela Mistral and Julia de Burgos.
Education and Career
In the 1970s, Braschi studied literature in Madrid, Rome, Paris, and London.
