Biography of Nambaryn Enkhbayar

Nambaryn Enkhbayar was born on June 1, 1958, in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of the Mongolian People's Republic.

He attended a Russian kindergarten and school, where he learned the Russian language. Enkhbayar's parents believed that Russian education provided better quality, which is why they sent him to a Russian school. Even during his school years, Enkhbayar translated works by Sholokhov into Mongolian.

In 1975, Enkhbayar successfully passed the entrance exams and obtained a student ticket to the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute in Moscow.
